Responsibilities:
The receptionist will be responsible for:
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Screen all incoming phone calls and direct them accordingly. Take messages when necessary
- Greet all guests and ensure their comfort while they wait.
- Take inventory of office supplies, bathroom and kitchen. Supervises orders placed
- Sort, open, and stamp all incoming FedEx’s, UPS, and regular mail daily, and deliver to appropriate persons
- Ensure all outgoing mail is stamped and mailed out
- Put together and mail out Federal Express mail daily
- Help prepare (type, print labels, and box up) off-site files for all departments.
- Any other office functions as designated
- Back up shipping and dispatch
- Packaging assistance when requested. Some heavy lifting (35lbs) may be needed.
- Apply for, and track vessel licenses and tax exemptions.
- Complete Fish Catch Report daily.
- All other duties as assigned. This description is not intended to be all inclusive and is just a highlight of some of the responsibilities of this position.
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma preferred
- Outgoing personality and the ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to work overtime as required
- Candidate must have strong organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
