Job Overview
Omega Veterinary Group has an open position for ICU/Inpatient with a schedule of Wednesday-Saturday 2pm-12:30am. If you have a passion for critical care, have a minimum of 1 year of experience in ICU/CCU with a minimum of 3 years as a veterinary assistant, we are an exciting hospital where you can utilize and grow your critical care skills. In this role, you will be assigned to your patients providing detailed and thorough nursing care.
Responsibilities
- Assigned to critical care patients in ICU with an average caseload of 3-4 patients per primary Inpatient RVT/experienced veterinary assistant
- Advanced nursing care including CRI's, central lines, oxygen therapy and more
- Provide treatments, monitoring and nursing care for critical care patients
- Additional responsibilities include radiology, phlebotomy, in-house labs, advanced medical math, respiratory therapies including high flow oxygen and Snyder units

Who we are looking for
We are seeking an experienced veterinary assistant who is passionate about ICU medicine, detailed patient and client care and has a curiosity for continued learning. This role will allow you to apply your skills in advanced nursing care while working alongside specialists and a great team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU/CCU with role as primary nursing care
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary assistant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
