RhinoBond Tool Assembly Technician

Position
Reporting to the RhinoBond Tool Manager, the RhinoBond Tool Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly of electronics-based products sold or manufactured by OMG. The successful candidate will be able to work unsupervised and be detail-oriented, thorough, organized, and quality focused. This is a fast-paced environment where learning new skills will be necessary to succeed and grow.
Responsibilities
- Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
- Assemble RhinoBond induction welding tools from a combination on in-house assembled sub-assemblies or sub-assemblies from external partners.
- Operate test systems and conduct factory acceptance tests.
- Maintain necessary files and records.
- Maintain a neat and well-organized work area.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent, with experience in electronics assembly strongly preferred.
- Ability to interpret safety instructions, job orders, quality specifications, and other related documents in English.
- Self-directed with the ability to work individually or in a team environment.
- Ability to solve practical problems and prioritize workloads with a high degree of urgency.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Good close vision and depth perception skills.
- Positive “can do” attitude!
