🚨 Now Hiring: EHS Specialist - Thousand Oaks, CA 🚨
Are you an experienced EHS professional with a strong background in industrial safety? Do you have a passion for ensuring workplace safety and driving compliance in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment? One of our Biotech customers is looking for an EHS Specialist to join their team in Thousand Oaks, CA!
🔹 Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Onsite, 3-5 days/week)
🔹 Duration: 1-Year Contract (Possible Extension)
🔹 Pay Rate: $52–$56/hr (W2)
🔹 No relocation candidates; must be within 1-hour commute
What You’ll Do:
✅ Lead & enhance safety and health programs across the Thousand Oaks campus
✅ Support risk management, contractor safety, industrial safety, environmental compliance, & process safety
✅ Conduct risk assessments, job hazard assessments, and accident investigations
✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement safety strategies
✅ Provide expert-level safety assessments & ensure regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 2-3 years of industrial safety experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech
✔ OSHA safety knowledge (OSHA training or equivalent experience)
✔ Familiarity with chemical/biological manufacturing and laboratory safety
✔ Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
✔ Bachelor's degree in EHS, Occupational Safety, or related field
Top Must-Have Skills:
🔹 Experience managing OSHA Safety Programs
🔹 Strong background in Risk Management
🔹 Excellent organizational and communication skills
🚨 Red Flags: Candidates unwilling to work onsite at least 3 days/week, no industrial safety experience, or relocation candidates.
