Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching summer experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for children. You will lead activities, provide guidance, and foster personal growth among campers while ensuring their well-being and safety throughout their time at camp.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with campers in various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Plan and implement educational and recreational programs that promote teamwork, creativity, and skill development.
- Provide support in behavior management and conflict resolution among campers.
- Assist with daily camp operations, including setup and cleanup of activities.
- Foster positive relationships with campers by being approachable, supportive, and encouraging.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment in all camp areas.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to childhood development and special education.
Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience or skills in the following areas:
- Babysitting or daycare experience with children of various ages.
- Background in special education or behavior management techniques.
- Experience in tutoring or classroom management is beneficial.
- A passion for childhood development and creating memorable camp experiences.
- Previous involvement in camp settings or similar educational environments is highly desirable.

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
