Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tanker Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid cargo using specialized tanker trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of truck driving regulations, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Duties

• Operate tanker trucks to transport liquid cargo to designated locations.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details as required by regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation laws and regulations.
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck as needed, including checking fluid levels and tire pressure.

Skills

• Proven experience as a HEATING OIL/DIESEL Delivery Driver.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate on a limited basis with customers.
• Excellent navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS technology.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
