Business Account Executive
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by selling our telecommunications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the local area. This is a field sales position that requires daily travel to client sites and a hunter mentality to acquire new customers. Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:
- Prospect and identify potential SMB clients within the assigned territory.
- Conduct cold calls, set up meetings, and actively network to generate leads.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations, effectively demonstrating the value of our telecommunications solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers within target businesses.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving monthly sales quotas.
- Accurately forecast sales and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Utilize CRM software (HubSpot) and internal systems (Pega, GeoRep) to manage accounts, track activities, and generate reports.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, specifically with small businesses.
- Strong cold calling, prospecting, and lead generation skills.
- Experience with field sales and a comfort level with daily travel.
- Ability to manage short sales cycles and close deals efficiently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with telecommunications products and services (preferred).
