Construction Manager
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Construction Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of telecommunication infrastructure projects. This role will be responsible for managing all phases of construction, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring that all projects comply with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optics, and other network installations, along with strong leadership and project management skills.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all aspects of telecommunications construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate a team of engineers, construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols and project timelines.
- Develop detailed project schedules, including milestones and deadlines. Coordinate resources, labor, and equipment to meet project goals and timelines.
- Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment. Identify and mitigate cost overruns and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations. Enforce safety guidelines and conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure all projects meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or changes to scope.
- Identify and resolve potential issues or delays in construction schedules, including weather-related delays, equipment failures, or manpower shortages. Proactively address challenges to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local zoning laws, building codes, environmental regulations, and other relevant telecommunications industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, budgets, change orders, and other project-related documentation. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
- If you are assigned a company vehicle, you will be responsible for stocking, cleaning, and reporting maintenance needs to the Fleet Manager.
