The essence of Louisville is woven throughout with interior design blends elements of the city’s heritage, culture and character, felt everywhere from the hotel restaurants to a featured bourbon bar to the hotel’s Speakeasy and bowling alley.

Guests can also enjoy a dynamic 20,000 square foot urban food hall and market connected to the lobby of the hotel. Transforming Liberty Street into a pedestrian thoroughfare, the market serves as a community gateway for hotel guests and locals alike, inviting the neighborhood in with the smells of freshly brewed Heine Brothers’ coffee, baked bread, and smoked barbeque.

Job Description

To ensure proper training and supervision of all personnel. To deliver prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage and Heine Brothers' standards and company policies and procedures. The F&B Outlets Manager is responsible for Heine Brothers’, Fall City Market Retail, and may assist in other retail or F&B outlets as needed. The Manager is expected to work with staff to create an exceptional customer experience and strive to resolve difficult problems that arise with guests, associates, and the hotel operation while keeping a fun engaging environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently ensures the maximum guest experience in Heine Brothers', Falls City Market Retail, Miller & Co. and Lewis Louis.
• Responsible for hiring, scheduling, ordering according to the needs of the overall hotel operation
• Drive supplemental offerings during busy times and have a strategic plan in place
• Supervises the floor staff during operation
• Ensures that service personnel follow guest engagement service scenarios
• Monitors timing of guest experience
• Handles all guest complaints to the guests’ satisfaction
• Maintains consistency in the operation
• Familiar with clients so that there is a constant recognition of all repeat guests
• Maintains the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant
• Ensures the staff’s uniforms and appearance meet Omni Hotels & Resorts policy and standards
• Constantly performs positive up-selling techniques with service staff
• Knows and adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Knows emergency procedures
• Performs any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management
• Responsible for restocking, ordering, and maintaining inventory in all areas

Qualifications

• Must have two or more years of management experience in a similar, high quality Food and Beverage establishment. Coffee shop experience preferred
• Must have a flexible schedule and is required to work a variety of shifts including morning and evenings, as well as, weekends and holidays
• Must have experience in budget control, inventory, training of personnel, problem resolution, decision making, and multitasking
• Must be Food Handler certified.
