Medical Editor
- Adds reference annotations to final PDFs of promotional materials for OPDP submission
- Highlights and back-annotates corresponding references for OPDP submission
- Supplies missing reference annotations and / or references
- Completes multiple projects under extremely tight deadlines
- Helps proofread package inserts, medication guides, brief summaries, and other labeling documents
- Translates complex medical information into patient-friendly languageSkills and Knowledge
- Required : - Well versed in Adobe Acrobat Professional- Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical LMR review process- Ability to focus on detailed, repetitious tasks for long periods- Flexibility in meeting strict deadlines- Strong interpersonal communication skills-Ability to hyperlink references in Adobe Acrobat
- Preferred : - Knowledge of medical / pharmaceutical terminology and federal regulations governing pharmaceutical advertising- Experience in writing and / or editing professional promotional, med ed, or related materials- Pharma ad agency experienceEducation and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English / journalism / mass communications or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of referencing submissions for LMR and / or OPDP review
- Minimum 5 years of proofreading experience, preferably in the medical / pharmaceutical field
