What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2 Cycle Stand-Up Unit Operator - 3rd Shift position at Omni Specialty Packaging, LLC?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will direct and coordinate the production of quality products in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires great attention to detail, a delegation of the line employees also requires the ability to follow instructions and make strategic changeover decisions.
Responsible for but not limited to:
- Verify bottles for a current run with the production schedule and production packet work order;
- Monitor the production of the standup unit and tend to any adjustments that need to be made during the production process
- Work with maintenance to resolve any mechanical issues that arise during the production process.
- Verify each Gaylord of bottles brought to the line and verify each Gaylord before they are placed on the dumper.
- Follow directions issued by the line leader, shift lead and/or management
- Follow the production schedule unless otherwise changed by shift lead and/or management
- Constantly monitor the quality of the materials and product during the production run
- Report any production issues to the line leader immediately
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning up any fluid spills immediately, keeping all walkways and work stations clear of debris
- Operate the standup unit in a safe, productive, and efficient manner
Education/Experience Required:
- To report to work as scheduled, safely and efficiently
- Operate said production line to meet production and quality demands
- Coach and develop coworkers
- Perform and maintain proper housekeeping
