Omni Wound Physicians (OWP) is expanding across Washington State, with opportunities in Spokane, Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, and Eastern Washington, including communities near the Idaho border. Our providers serve urban hubs, rural towns, and everything in between, ensuring patients in skilled nursing facilities, long-term care centers, and private residences receive specialized, high-quality wound care where they need it most.

We are seeking skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to deliver mobile wound care services throughout Washington. Whether you prefer working in fast-paced urban settings, the growing medical network of Spokane, or rural communities along the Washington-Idaho border, we have opportunities that align with your expertise.

Locations Hiring

Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, and surrounding areas

Spokane & Eastern Washington, including communities near the Idaho border (Pullman, Colfax, Newport, Cheney, and more)

Tri-Cities & Central Washington

Our providers cover both urban and rural areas, ensuring that patients in medically underserved communities receive high-quality wound care services.

Schedule & Shift Options

Part-Time : Minimum 2 shifts per week (sick time accrual available) .

Full-Time : Minimum 30 hours per week (includes full benefits package) .

Shifts : Typically 8-hour shifts within the range of 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM or 9 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (subject to change based on business needs) .

On-Call & Weekend Coverage – Some on-call or weekend coverage may be required, but team members will typically be notified in advance to ensure personal commitments are not interrupted whenever possible.

Key Responsibilities

Comprehensive Wound Care – Diagnose and manage acute and chronic wounds, including venous, arterial, diabetic, pressure, and post-surgical wounds.

Advanced Procedures – Perform sharp and excisional debridement, NPWT management, tissue biopsies, and gastrostomy tube care.

Treatment Planning – Monitor healing progress, modify therapies based on clinical outcomes, and ensure adherence to advanced wound healing protocols.

Patient & Provider Education – Provide comprehensive wound care training to patients, caregivers, and facility staff.

Regulatory & Documentation Compliance – Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Field-Based Care – Travel 50–70 miles daily to multiple care sites, ensuring seamless patient care across Washington’s expanding patient base.

Support Business & Clinical Growth – Assist in workflow optimization, team training, and other duties as assigned to support expansion efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

Active, unrestricted Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) program

Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in wound care, geriatrics, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or related specialties

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Reliable transportation and a valid Washington driver’s license

Preferred

Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWS) or ability to obtain within 6 months

DEA registration for prescriptive authority (preferred but not required)

Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health settings

Proficiency with EHR systems, telehealth platforms, and workflow efficiency tools

Regulatory & Compliance Requirements – Washington State

Washington is a full-practice authority state, allowing Nurse Practitioners (ARNPs) to work independently in diagnosing, prescribing, and managing treatments.

Applicants should be aware of the following :

Prescriptive Authority – ARNPs must complete 30 hours of advanced pharmacology education to prescribe medications, including controlled substances.

Continuing Education Requirements – 30 hours of continuing education and 250 clinical hours every two years to maintain licensure.

Mandatory Training – Includes a one-time six-hour suicide prevention course and seven hours of HIV / AIDS education.
