Revenue Analyst - Temp

Responsibilities:

• Support SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) system implementation
• Perform migration data validation for the SAP RAR system implementation
• Review revenue allocation in RAR to ensure the proper data flow and revenue allocation and explain the reasons for the revenue allocation changes
• Performs financial and accounting analysis to ensures proper revenue recognition in accordance with Company policies and GAAP
• Responsible for preparation of revenue recognition including installation letters, deliverables; deferrals, and reconciliations, etc.
• Assist with preparations of key revenue forecasts and analytics for management
• Prepare audit PBC schedules; submit to and review with management and audit team.
• Perform special projects as needed.
  
  
  

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Basic understanding of ASC 606 revenue accounting rules and related literature.
• The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving dynamic environment, deal with high volume data transactions and solve data discrepancy within short turn-around time.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze problems, as well to multi-task and meet deadlines under urgent requirement.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously and work with grace under pressure.
• A strong drive for excellence with an established practice of eliciting functional and cross functional collaboration to achieve excellence/results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill, self-motivated and self-directed; however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people as a team member
• Excellent follow-through and meticulous eye for detail.
• Microsoft Excel skills and SAP RAR experience are required.
  
  
  

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 years of accounting experience with revenue recognition experience
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
• 2 years of SAP Experience including RAR
• 2 years or more as revenue accountant or higher, preferably in a high tech, internet company or medical device.
• Advanced EXCEL skills
• Audit firm experience
  
  
  

Work Conditions:

Remote working on project RAR SAP needed. Okay with basic qualifications. Must do pivot tables v lookups. Basic Excel skills. Implementation during data migration lots of comparisons with the date. Strong analytical accounting skills.
