Job Description
Technical Director, Data Governance Architecture
As the Director of Data Governance Architecture, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our data platform. You will ensure the organization's data is accurate, consistent, secure, and compliant with relevant regulations. You will be working across the organization in defining, implementing, and enforcing data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility. You will collaborate closely with teams, such as IT, Products and data owners to promote best practices in data management and to support the effective use of data for decision-making, analytics, dashboarding, reporting and AI.
Responsibilities
- Data Governance Strategy :
Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy, encompassing policies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with security teams to implement robust data security measures, including access controls, encryption, and data masking.
Design and implement MDM solutions to ensure data consistency and accuracy across the organization.
Work closely with the platform architect to design and implement a scalable and secure data platform with governance embedded and enforced.
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure they have access to high-quality data to build data products.
Evaluate and select appropriate data governance tools and technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams Legal, IT, Compliance & Ethics, Privacy, Product and Engineering to ensure alignment on data governance objectives.
