The Senior Graphic Designer will be responsible for developing branded marketing creative materials from concept to completion for a broad spectrum of collateral. The position requires a motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and creative problem solver with up-to-date industry knowledge. Must be able to interpret our client’s needs and produce creative materials that meet or exceed expectations. The Senior Graphic Designer will report directly to an Art Director or Associate Creative Director.

Snow’s business is centered around the patient journey, and the Senior Graphic Designer, like all employees at Snow, must be open, compassionate, and sensitive to the unique life experiences of the patients and caregivers with whom we engage. The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to incorporate the unique patient/caregiver experience into the strategies and solutions we provide to our clients.

Patient Privacy

The core of our business is working with patients. It is most likely that you will come in contact with personally identifiable information (PII) and personal health information (PHI) of patients living with chronic illness. The Senior Graphic Designer will be required to successfully complete and adhere to training courses which may include, but are not limited to:

  • Snow Policies and Procedures
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements such as the Privacy Rule, Security Rule, and Sunshine Act reporting
  • Adverse Event (AE) reporting
  • The promotional requirements for pharmaceuticals under the FDA and FTC and other applicable federal or state regulations
  • Privacy and Data Security

Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities

The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to perform the following essential duties and functions:

  • Assess creative briefs and use effective ideation techniques to produce a variety of unique concepts that meet client's strategic goals
  • Assess timelines and ensure that it seems doable with the requested work
  • Build layouts based on knowledge of design principles and articulate rationale of creative decisions
  • Deadline driven and works efficiently to deliver on multiple project timelines from kickoff to final delivery
  • Understand and adhere to client brand strategies, marketing goals, and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) legal and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to function well as part of a team, amend designs to account for client comments, and gain full approval
  • Deliver high-quality work that reflects Snow Companies' professionalism and strengthens our company's reputation
  • Quick learner and skills-growth driven; able to observe industry trends and push design technique and style to keep designs fresh
  • Effectively meet design deadlines to maintain Snow Companies' commitment to client requests and attend client meetings to overhear and take in comments
  • Identify and work with PMs and ATs to ensure questions are answered during KOs and when they arise during the project
  • Able to represent the Design Department in resolving design change requests from internal departments and/or clients
  • Provide professional design consultation (i.e., expert aesthetic advice) to internal departments and/or clients in management of design projects
  • Help to determine the best design techniques to be used to meet the client's expectations
  • Oversee the review of work from designers and provide critique and constructive feedback to ensure the brand needs and project goals are being met
  • This position may include up to 10% in travel to attend client meetings, events, or photoshoots

The Senior Graphic Designer may be asked to perform additional duties and responsibilities consistent with those listed above based upon business needs.

Knowledge

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (CS5 or later), i.e., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Acrobat Pro (experience in After Effects and web design is a plus)
  • Strong PowerPoint design capabilities required
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required
  • Sketch, XD, or Figma is knowledge is preferred

Skills

  • Proficient in photo touchup and modification and custom graphics creation
  • Proficient typography skills (marketing copywriting experience is a plus)
  • Strong balance of both print and digital experience, including social media, preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for new design techniques
  • Strong creative and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills

Abilities

  • Organized in their workday to ensure tasks are being completed and done on time
  • Displays an open, positive, optimistic approach to work and feedback
  • Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback into their design
  • Ability to critique and provide constructive feedback to other designers
  • Ability to collaborate with other team members and account teams
  • Lead and display problem solving techniques with creative, solution-oriented work

Education, Experience And Related Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and at least three to four years of relevant work experience
  • Or a minimum of six years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  • Salary range here - $50,000 - $55,000
