Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business System Analyst (BSA) with 12 years of experience to join our team in Virginia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business process analysis, system design, and requirement gathering while working closely with stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define business requirements and functional specifications.

• Conduct business process analysis and identify areas for improvement, automation, or optimization.

• Analyze and document current state and future state business processes.

• Work closely with software development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly.

• Create business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD), user stories, and use cases as per project needs.

• Act as a liaison between business users and IT teams to ensure smooth communication and understanding of technical solutions.

• Perform data analysis, gap analysis, impact analysis, and assist in designing system workflows and user interfaces.

• Support QA teams in defining test cases, validating test results, and performing UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

• Assist in developing system documentation, user guides, and training materials for end-users.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, security policies, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ 12 years of experience as a Business System Analyst in IT or software development projects.

✅ Strong experience in requirement gathering, business process modeling, and system analysis.

✅ Expertise in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

✅ Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other requirement management tools.

✅ Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation.

✅ Experience working with APIs, Web Services, and enterprise applications.

✅ Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

✅ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

✅ Strong documentation skills with experience in creating BRD, FRD, and user stories.

✅ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with banking, finance, or healthcare industries.

• Understanding of ERP, CRM, or enterprise applications.

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for reporting purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
