Our client is looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting directly to the HR team at our corporate headquarters in Houston, TX. This person is responsible for a wide variety of recruitment tasks that include maintaining HR reports, ATS management, resume screening and interview scheduling.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with overall recruiting needs & provide efficient strategies
  • Consult with hiring team to discover staffing needs for teams
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites and newspapers
  • Manage varied scheduling processes, which can involve several rounds of interviews, various assessments, travel booking, and a broad array of the firm’s team members schedules
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, lunches, and evaluations for training sessions
  • Prepare and coordinate firm training and development programs including lunch and learns, academies, and other training programs organized by the department
  • Assist in updating and maintaining training content to meet evolving business needs
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and attendance of training programs and recommend improvements
  • Source candidates by using databases, social media, approved recruiters
  • Evaluate and screen resumes
  • Ensure recruitment process is accurately tracked in ADP and updated consistently in all internal systems
  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews, hiring manager coordination and interview feedback gathering, and other recruiting efforts
  • Provide weekly recruitment reports for in process interviews
  • Assist the hiring team with recruiting methods, interview questions, and reference calls
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions working closely with HR team

Qualifications :

  • 1-3 years of experience in recruiting is required
  • Excellent communication and written skills & flexible working style
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects and shifting priorities, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for projects assigned in a professional manner
  • Solid knowledge of recruitment policies and procedures
  • Hands on experience with various candidate selection processes
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and additional job posting tools
  • Education / Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of related training & development, recruiting, and / or program coordination experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services setting
