Our client is looking to add an Operations Supervisor to their team in Corpus Christi, TX . They provide natural gas compression equipment and services to customers globally in the Oil & Gas, Power, Transportation, and Marine sectors.
Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions.
General Operations Supervisor Summary :
The Operations Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a job shop repair facility, leading mechanics and machinists while driving efficiency and financial performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Solve problems, execute objectives, and drive both short- and long-term business goals.
- Oversee shop operations, equipment, and staff to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of safety, compliance, and positive work environment.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures for safe and effective shop operations.
- Manage budgets and control expenditures.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff while ensuring efficient operations.
- Oversee contractor activities for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Manage all aspects of customer orders, including proposals, risk mitigation, scope, pricing, negotiations, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop strategies that meet customer needs and business goals.
- Achieve revenue, profitability, utilization, and budget targets.
