*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable systems in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in various environments. *Duties* - Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including Ethernet networks. - Build and configure network connections to ensure optimal performance. - Climb ladders and work at heights to install or repair cables. - Utilize power tools and equipment for installation tasks. - Perform equipment repair and maintenance on telecommunications devices. - Operate heavy equipment safely when required for installation tasks. - Conduct telecommunication tests using voltmeters to ensure proper functionality. - Operate bucket trucks for aerial installations or repairs as needed. - Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. *Skills* - Proficiency in Ethernet installation and troubleshooting. - Ability to build network connections effectively. - Experience with climbing techniques for safe access to elevated work areas. - Knowledge of power tools and their safe operation. - Strong skills in equipment repair, particularly in telecommunications devices. - Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus. - Familiarity with telecommunication testing tools, including voltmeters. - Capability to operate bucket trucks safely for aerial work. - Basic electrical knowledge related to cable systems is advantageous.
