Construction Project Administrator
Location: Cincinnati Regional Office, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Compensation: $18 - $22 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator to join our team of professionals working on some of Ohio’s most critical bridge and heavy highway projects. As part of our construction engineering and quality oversight team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring project success through organization, communication, and data management. What You’ll Do:
- Support project teams by routing correspondence, including submittals, RFIs, and general communications.
- Prepare meeting agendas, develop detailed meeting minutes, and maintain accurate project records.
- Perform data analysis to track project progress, materials, and issues.
- Generate and manage change orders, keeping a comprehensive change order log.
- Assist with minor project accounting tasks.
- Track and verify materials, including occasional field visits (5% of the role) to confirm deliveries.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems in a paperless environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and civil construction software platforms extensively.
- Adapt to and leverage our established project management system.
Who You Are:
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in written communication (e-mails, letters, reports).
- Eager to learn and grow in the construction engineering/management field.
- Comfortable with technology and quick to pick up new software platforms.
- Interested in potentially transitioning to field inspection or higher-level construction roles in the future.
- Able to work efficiently in a fully in-person, office-based role (95% office, 5% field).
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or Accounting (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Familiarity with reading construction plans and specifications is a plus, but a strong ability to learn is equally valuable.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ODOT’s AWP system is preferred but not required.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
