Complete welding assignments in a fast-paced environment focusing on quality and safety to maximize production.
Responsibilities
- Repair, fabricate, and/or paint roll-off boxes, material handling equipment, and other projects
- Determine levels of repair needed and make decisions on what to repair and what to scrap
- Assign work to other techs for daily, weekly, and monthly operations
- Enter work orders, parts charge outs, and equipment ordering into MRO system
- Track time and costs of repaired items
- Communicate progress with other departments and supervisors
- Able to use a computer, e-mail, excel, and other fabrication based software.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to arc weld with stick and mig abilities efficiently.
- Ability to work independently focusing on quality and safety.
- Comply with all safety requirements.
