What to Expect in our Co-op Program:
Expand your technical and professional skills in a real-world setting. Omron co-ops are given meaningful work, support, and mentorship from experienced managers and key business leaders. Omron offers a chance to work in multiple areas of our Automation business; you will have the chance to work with our Manufacturing Team, Technical Sales, Product Marketing, Application Engineers, and many others.
Hours. Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Co-Op Program:
Gain relevant on-the-job experience in our rotational Co-op Program.
- Manufacturing: Co-ops will have hands-on, practical experience – observing various roles within manufacturing.
- Engineering Services: Co-ops will be able to leverage previous exposure to OMRON products and see them in real-world applications. Providing a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle from production to end-use.
- Marketing: Co-Ops work within the Marketing team to gain an understanding of concepts such as product marketing, industry trends, and marketing communications.
- Sales Engineer: Co-ops work one-on-one with our Sales and Application Engineers to better understand our customers' needs.

You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You dig for root causes of a problem and look for patterns. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy.
Required Education, Skills, & Experience:
- Undergraduate Student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, and Computer Engineering from Clemson University.
- Completion of at least 3 semesters of coursework
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Ability to work independently, learn new tasks/handle multiple tasks, solve problems, meet deadlines, and show strong self-motivation and initiative.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- To conform with U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorization from the U.S. Government.
