Job Description :
The Procurement Analyst will support the procurement team in managing the purchasing of goods and services for the organization. This role involves analyzing procurement data, managing supplier performance, assisting in contract negotiations, and optimizing procurement processes to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices. The Procurement Analyst will collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and external partners to meet organizational needs and achieve cost savings.
Job Responsibilities :
Data Analysis & Reporting :
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, monitor spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, including supplier performance, spend analysis, and procurement efficiency.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and supply chain activities.
Supplier Management :
Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, and service.
Maintain and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
Procurement Process Support :
Assist in the preparation of requests for quotations (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and purchase orders.
Ensure procurement processes are efficient, transparent, and aligned with organizational policies.
Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Cost Management & Budgeting :
Help develop and manage procurement budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
Analyze procurement costs and recommend opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or delivery.
Support the negotiation of pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the organization.
Contract & Documentation Support :
Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts, ensuring that terms and conditions are clearly defined and compliant with organizational policies.
Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and contracts.
Support the contract renewal process and help monitor compliance with contract terms.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication :
Work closely with internal departments, such as finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure procurement activities are aligned with organizational needs.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding procurement policies and procedures.
Assist in managing supplier inquiries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or delivery.
Process Improvement :
Assist in identifying areas for process improvement within the procurement function
Recommend and implement best practices in procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, etc.) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends or cost-saving opportunities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., data analysis, reporting, and pivot tables).
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Good communication and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Analytical Thinking : Ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights for process improvements.
Attention to Detail : Ensure accuracy in procurement data, contracts, and order management.
Problem-Solving : Ability to identify and resolve procurement-related issues proactively.
Collaboration : Work effectively across departments and with suppliers to achieve organizational objectives.

Preferred Qualifications :
Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Certified Professional in Supply Management - CPSM).
