What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at OMTECH?
NOTE:
Candidate must be local to Minnesota.
Title: Bookkeeper
Location: Hybrid in (Apple Valley, MN)
Duration: Fulltime/Permanent Position
Summary:
· Need accountants and bookkeeper essentially.
· One of the big pluses will be QuickBooks online and desktop experience.
· Associate degree or 4 years accountant degree with 2 years of experience (if no degree than 5-7 years of work experience).
· Ability to generate financial reports, balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements on a regular basis.
· Ability to upkeep clients accounting books and needs.
· Reconcile bank and credit card statements, journal entries, daily, weekly, monthly and year end close procedures.
· Must have experience working with deadlines and closing the books.
· Understanding of accounting regulations and practices.
· Proficiency in quick books accounting software. Knowledge of tax would be a plus but not a requirement.
