Job Overview
The Senior Finance Systems Manager will support the OLE accounting/finance department and other offices, based in New York, NY. This individual will play a key role in implementing best practices around NetSuite, optimizing it for business needs, and training staff on effective use of the system. The position is fully responsible for the administration of the NetSuite ERP, overseeing ad hoc projects and requests across all subsidiaries, and developing consolidated financial reporting.

The Senior Finance Systems Manager will support the OLE accounting/finance department and other offices, based in New York, NY. This individual will play a key role in implementing best practices around NetSuite, optimizing it for business needs, and training staff on effective use of the system. The position is fully responsible for the administration of the NetSuite ERP, overseeing ad hoc projects and requests across all subsidiaries, and developing consolidated financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- NetSuite Configuration & Customization: Develop, test, and deploy configurations, updates, and customizations to NetSuite, including creating fields, workflow rules, custom reports, saved searches, and dashboards to meet business needs.
- System Integration & Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance and automate internal processes, including integrating NetSuite with internal sales, ticketing, FileMaker, and T&E software.
- Data Management & Reporting: Collaborate with Accounting, Marketing, Sales, Ticketing, and Finance teams to streamline processes regarding data flow and quality, improving accuracy and value. Support consolidated and ad hoc reporting and development of reports.
- System Administration & User Support: Resolve system issues, manage user accounts and permissions, and provide training and ongoing support for all users across the company and subsidiaries.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, scope and prioritize activities based on business impact, and participate in regular meetings to discuss progress and resolve issues.
- Training & Documentation: Train power users on NetSuite functionalities such as dashboard design, KPIs, search formulas, and other features. Maintain comprehensive documentation for key operational processes and system improvements.
- SOX Compliance: Serve as the primary administrator for SOX controls related to accounting systems.
- International Reporting: Assist in the development of statutory reporting to support international accounting needs.
- System Interfaces: Collaborate with IT to develop interfaces between NetSuite and other systems.
- Additional Duties: Handle other tasks as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience: NetSuite Administrator Certification or proven experience with multi-subsidiary entities and revenue recognition is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Excel, FileMaker, Smartsheet, Concur, and Certify/Emburse is preferred. Expertise in creating saved searches, formulas, reports, dashboards, custom forms, and workflows in NetSuite.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting systems.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of the business.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
