As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in the Special Events and Municipalities sales team to achieve revenue targets by providing exceptional support and service to customers. You will be responsible for managing sales-related activities and ensuring an ultimate customer experience.

Position Overview:
The Account Manager will be a key member for the Special Events and Municipalities sales team to help with account management, coordinate and prepare cost estimates for Special Events (such as weddings, parties, marathons, etc.) as well as compile data to determine the amount of materials, labor, and any other special equipment needed to meet/exceed the customer’s expectations. You will be estimating and submitting bids for Municipalities customers as well.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Special Events and Municipalities sales team in managing customer accounts and territories, as well as collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals
- Assisting with the coordination, communication, estimates, and bids of special events and municipalities customers
- Engaging with external customers to provide pricing, answer questions, research, and problem-solve any issues to maintain customer satisfaction
- Updating SalesForce customer accounts and sales activities accordingly
- Respond to and resolve customer questions or requests
- Continually research upcoming events that could be targeted for new business
- Obtain, demonstrate, and maintain an in-depth understanding of product and service knowledge, becoming the “go to” product knowledge expert for the customer
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- 5 year's experience in inside sales, sales coordination, and/or project management is an advantage
- B2B inside sales experience
- Knowledge of working with government contracts is a plus
- Background in special events is a plus
Skills:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proficiency in SalesForce
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
