Position Summary:
Receive in-bound sales leads from the web and telephone and generate new sales using different methods such as cold calls, e-mails, trade shows and social media platforms. Gather necessary information from customer to prepare quotes. Consult with operations to ensure quotation integrity. Present, follow-up, and close the deals. Own your client base to drive new & ongoing business.
Necessary Skills:
Position requires; a personable, strong, self-motivated individual with excellent computer skills (MS Suite, E-mail, Cloud, etc.), easily adaptable to learn new industries, able to effectively work with a variety of personalities, excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficient at keeping organized, detail in our CRM systems and files. Customers US based so familiarity with USA an asset.
Responsibilities:
Existing Accounts
· Onboard & inherit a thousand accounts in the “North” territory that have purchased at least once.
· Take ownership of these accounts to look for new opportunities and referrals.
· Become the ‘face’ to these accounts.
Receive In-Bound opportunities:
· Consult with customer to understand the need.
· Present unique company advantages to their industry.
· Gather necessary information to prepare quotation.
Out Bound:
· Follow up leads from Direct Mail, On-Line and Trade Shows in conjunction with Marketing campaigns.
· Cold Call targeted lists as determined by Marketing.
· Execute scheduled followed ups to existing & inactive customers to find new opportunities & referrals.
Quoting:
· Use company tools to prepare & compose quotations with all pertinent information.
· Work with Management and suppliers to ensure quotations are accurate.
· Present proposal to customer.
Follow Up:
· Follow up on opportunities through to a decision (won/lost) including multi-party selling, building relationships….
· Develop Long-Term sales approach to address the sometimes long sales cycle.
Close Deals:
· Close the Deal
· Hand-off to Operations for implementation.
· Schedule post-job customer service check in and begin looking for new opportunities.
CRM:
Utilize Salesforce.com for
· all leads, accounts, contacts.
· all opportunities from initial consultation to closed won/lost.
· all note taking, email logging and scheduled next follow ups.
· Synchronization with Outlook calendar
· Reporting
· Call/target planning

- Approach every relationship as they are your account to develop & grow
- Take ownership and responsibility for your client base.
- Take a proactive & leadership position to drive the relationship.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
