What are the responsibilities and job description for the PL Administrator position at On The Mark Utility Locating Services?
Job Location: Rochester, NY
Status: Part Time / Full Time
Rate of Pay: $18 - $23/hr
Operation Hours: Monday thru Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Position Summary:
Perform tasks involving monitoring the Private Locating business, as well as, supporting dispatching operations, as needed.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Locating (Private & One-Call)
- Review the Request for Work/Quote form to make sure the information is accurate, and all the required paperwork is put together and in order.
- Manage work request coming in from the OTM website/private locating email, and phone.
- Assist Program Manager with sending quotes, scheduling jobs, paperwork and acquiring pertinent information needed for scheduling.
- Manage the jobs & quotes in DigTix ticket system database.
- Effective communication skills both with customers and Utility Locating Technicians.
- Review work request tickets for each job to make sure the information is accurate before sending to invoice.
- Process input and track status of service request via operating system, phone and/or email with clients.
- Daily check in with Program Manager.
- Review incoming correspondence(s) and materials in a timely and orderly manner.
- Assist Program Manager in ordering and maintaining locating supplies and equipment.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and be a team player.
- Time management, organization and attention to detail is critical to the position.
- Other duties as assigned.

Dispatching
- Knowledge of dispatching and basic steps for all DPV programs for back-up purposes, as needed.
- Assist with answering incoming calls.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
