We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to join our team at our Southbury and Southington locations. As a Sales Coordinator, you will be the face of our brand, assisting customers with medical and mobility equipment needs, providing product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate medical equipment or wellness products
- Demonstrate product functionality and features, including mobility aids, lift chairs, hospital beds, and more
- Process sales transactions accurately through POS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment
- Receive and stock inventory, ensuring proper labeling and storage
- Coordinate with the delivery team for product availability and special orders
- Provide follow-up customer support as needed to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with in-store displays, merchandising, and promotional events
- Uphold On The Mend’s standards of care, professionalism, and trust
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred (medical supply experience a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to customer needs
- Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) skills
- Ability to lift/move moderately heavy equipment as needed
- Reliable transportation to commute between Southbury and Southington locations if needed
- Willingness to learn about medical equipment and customer care practices
