What are the responsibilities and job description for the Per Diem Residential Peer Specialist position at On the Road to Wellness?

On the Road to Wellness is a Peer Support Agency that has been serving adults managing their mental health and wellness for over 35 years.
This position is for our Step-Up Step-Down program which is a 90-day, non-clinical wellness program with a housing component. We offer 24-hour peer support for adults managing their mental health wellness.
Some basic requirements for this role are…
- A strong commitment to your own recovery and wellness
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
- Vulnerability and a willingness to be open about your mental health journey
- Overnight and weekend availability
- A desire to learn, grow, and be trained to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist
As an employee with On the Road to Wellness you will be enrolled in training to become a Certified Peer Support Specialist for the State of New Hampshire (certification is required within 1 year of hire).
