Summary
As a Recruiting Specialist at On the Spot Utility Resources, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and attracting top talent. This position is essential in driving our mission to deliver high-quality underground utility locating while fostering strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers.
Responsibilities
- Consult with company leadership about hiring needs
- Create and post engaging job descriptions on various platforms
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking
- Screen applications and resumes to shortlist candidates
- Conduct interviews with applicants
- Explain the benefits, company policies and specifications of the job to the applicant
- Hire and extend offers to the most qualified applicants
- Assist with onboarding and orientation
- Assist with onboarding paperwork
Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment or human resources, preferably within the utility sector.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to evaluate candidate qualifications effectively.
- Excellent relationship management skills to build rapport with candidates.
- Ability to negotiate contracts and offers professionally.
- Strong communication skills.
- A degree or relevant experience in business, human resources, communication or similar field of study.
