We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative General Ledger Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, supporting strategic decisions with accurate data, and helping shape our accounting processes in a high-impact industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter financial transactions and journal entries into the general ledger
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial documentation
- Analyze financial data and support month-end and year-end close processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Support the Controller and broader finance team with various accounting functions
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with audit preparation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and update documentation for accounting procedures
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of hands-on accounting experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Experience with accounting systems – SAP and IFS experience is a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team
