Key Responsibilities
Ensure Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Maintain strict compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations (Part 21, Part 145, 8130-3s).
- Stay up to date with evolving industry standards to guarantee operational excellence.
- Develop and track key quality metrics to identify trends and areas for enhancement in MRO processes and products.
- Implement data-driven solutions to streamline operations and reduce defects.
- Provide hands-on support throughout critical MRO quality processes, including:
- Induction, inspection, testing, failure analysis, documentation reviews, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance at each step while driving process efficiencies.
- Conduct in-depth failure analysis of field returns to determine root causes and develop preventive actions.
- Design and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve product reliability.
- Act as the primary quality liaison for customer interactions, addressing inquiries, audits, certifications, and inspections.
- Support and coordinate on-site customer and regulatory audits to ensure seamless evaluations.
- Conduct periodic reviews of customer-specific requirements to guarantee alignment with expectations.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an aerospace MRO or manufacturing quality role.
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100, ISO 9001, and Part 145 compliance.
- Proven expertise in failure analysis, corrective action implementation, and root cause analysis (e.g., 8D, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies).
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory evaluations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, auditors, and cross-functional teams.
