At ONC Boces Oneonta, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Instrumental Music Teacher to join our team. This secondary level music educator will be responsible for instructing students in various instruments, fostering musical growth, and inspiring a love for music.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in one or more instruments, teaching experience, and strong knowledge of music theory and performance techniques. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students.
The responsibilities of this position include planning and delivering engaging lessons, tailoring instruction to different skill levels, and preparing students for performances, competitions, and assessments. The teacher will also support ensemble rehearsals, provide individual coaching, and integrate music theory and technique into lessons.
