What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Music Instructor position at Sauquoit Valley CSD?
The Sauquoit Valley Central School District is in search of a New York State certified Music Teacher. This is a probationary, full-time position, starting July 1, 2025. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with strong pedagogy and a desire to work with a small but cohesive music department. A woodwind specialist is desired but not mandatory.
Tentative Teaching Responsibilities:
1. Two Instrumental groups (6th grade & 9-12 Concert Band)
2. Instrumental lessons
3. 1 grade level of General Music (anticipated 6th grade)
