Your Role as an Industrial Electronics Technician – Paper Mill
Every day brings new opportunities to apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills. Here’s what you’ll tackle:
- Conducting preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components based on schematics, manuals, and codes.
- Providing hands-on, technical support for instrumentation and electrical control applications in manufacturing.
- Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical and electronic equipment.
- Installing new electrical equipment and managing inventory and parts.
- Performing tasks such as testing, calibration, and repair of various control instruments and equipment.
- Supporting other maintenance activities, including mechanical tasks, as needed.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
We value the unique expertise and experience that each team member brings. Ideal candidates will have:
- A military background in Electronics, Fire Control, Nuclear, Weapons Control, Avionics, Instrumentation, Sonar, etc. (Veterans are highly encouraged to apply!).
- Industrial experience in flat sheet processes like paper manufacturing.
- An Associate’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related fields, OR equivalent military experience.
- At least two years of troubleshooting electrical/electronic or instrumentation & control systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in electrical sensors, switches, controllers, industrial communication, robotics, motion control, and AC/DC power.
- Familiarity with QCS equipment (Honeywell, ABB, Valmet, etc.) is a plus, though not required.
