We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to drive sales while maintaining high standards of store presentation. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers and ensuring that the store operates efficiently.
Duties
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and train store staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring stock levels are maintained and organized.
- Handle employee schedules effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and daily reconciliations.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and develop action plans to achieve targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in inventory control systems and cash register operations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the shopping experience.
