Onco360 has an immediate need for a Software Engineer (API Technologies). This role will begin with training and onboarding Onsite at one of our pharmacy locations and will transition to Remote.

Software Engineer Summary - This Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance of APIs, as well as Windows and web-based applications and systems, contributing to the overall IT strategy and objectives.
Software Engineer Major Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs & Micro Webservices that meet business requirements
- Hands-on experience with API management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, OpenAPI) and API security (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Work on API testing tools and frameworks.
- Actively involved in the development and maintenance of new/existing applications in C#/VB.Net, Visual Studio .Net, SQL Server, JQuery, JSON, LINQ
- Knowledge of API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Work with modern development tools and practices (e.g., Git, CI/CD pipelines) to ensure smooth deployment and updates.
- Responsible for adhering to development standards while delivering solutions on time.
- Responsible for maintaining high quality of the code that is being delivered by following good standards and practices
- Actively involved in the development and maintenance of new/existing applications.
- Responsible for analyzing and resolving technical problems and application incidents.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Software Engineer Position Qualifications:
- Education/Learning Experience
- Required: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration
- Desired: Master’s degree
- Work Experience
- Required:
- Minimum of two years of Software Engineer experience required.
- Hands on experience in building, maintaining software, web and windows applications; web services, source control; version control; testing; production turnover; specification development and systems analysis; Hands on experience with C#/VB.Net, Visual Studio .Net, SQL Server, JQuery, JSON, LINQ.
- Skills/Knowledge
- Required: Hands on experience with C#/VB.Net, Visual Studio .Net, SQL Server, JQuery, JSON, LINQ. Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
- Desired:
- Experience deploying and managing APIs in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in building APIs for high-traffic and high-availability systems.
- Licenses/Certifications
- Desired: MCSD or similar Microsoft Certifications
