As the primary liaison between resort staff and clients, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring every event is flawlessly executed, even under tight deadlines.
SUMMARY: As a Live Event Specialist, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, testing, and troubleshooting of audio and video equipment, ensuring smooth execution of events. You will serve as a key point of contact for both clients and resort staff, providing exceptional support and coordination. This role reports directly to the Hospitality Experience Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate a range of equipment to be show-ready, including microphones, sound systems, video screens, projectors, monitors, recording devices, and mixing boards, ensuring seamless execution of events and functions within hospitality venues
- Engage with customers at events to confirm that all equipment is configured according to the layout and the customer’s specific needs and preferences.
- Test and resolve equipment issues.
- Diagnose and correct media system problems.
- Clean audio and video equipment and store properly
- Safely prep, pack, and return AV equipment to its proper warehouse or storage room after each event
- Ensure the safe storage and integrity of data
- Maintain inventory of equipment
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
*Full-time hours possible during peak season
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
