Summary
As a Crew Member at Ondrick Materials & Recycling, you will play an essential role in our construction projects across Western Massachusetts and Northern/Central Connecticut. This position is vital to our mission of delivering high-quality materials and services while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites for paving and material processing.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support various construction tasks.
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, building, and paving as needed.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all crew members.
- Support concrete pouring and finishing operations as required.
Qualifications
- Experience in construction or related fields preferred.
- Strong ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
- Basic knowledge of paving work including layout and finishing techniques is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license; commercial driving experience is a plus but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
