Intake Coordinator
One Care DC, Inc is a behavioral health agency located in Washington DC has an exciting opportunity for a full time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. Our Mission is to provide quality mental health treatment and services to eligible District of Columbia residents in an environment that encourages them to become the best and healthiest versions of themselves.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and visitors by greeting in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.
- Enter consumer demographic and insurance information EHR
- Obtain proof of insurance such as Medicaid, MCO or Medicare and make a copy of insurance card (s) and scan into their profile.
- Check the consumer's insurance status.
- Track consumers insurance by updating and maintaining Insurance Tracking Sheet
- Complete Intake assessments and SUD screenings.
- Collaborate with staff members for completion of the Intake process
- Completing and update Intake Tracking Sheet
- Schedule Intake appointments and make appointment reminders calls.
- Follow up with consumers who missed their appointment and reschedule Intake appointments
- Keep consumer appointments on schedule by notifying providers of clients arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding providers of service delays.
- Respond to consumer inquiries in a prompt manner, prioritize requests, and refer these inquiries to the proper internal staff
- Track non-compliant consumers and inform appropriate staff for referral to the Outreach team.
- Ensure availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving client records.
- Maintain clients records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and insurance information.
- Prepare reports, memos, letters, correspondence, statements, and other documents, using word processing spreadsheets, database, and / or presentation software (MS Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook and other programs).
- Complete daily services report to track daily services that are provided.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and notify appropriate staff; schedule equipment service and repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
