Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Sales and Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in account management and sales, with a passion for helping clients bring their design visions to life. You will be the face of One Day Doors and Closets, connecting with homeowners, remodelers, designers and builders to showcase our premium interior doors, closets, pantry and garage organizer products. This position offers a base salary plus very competitive commission, perfect for self-starters who thrive in a performance-driven environment. You’ll take appointments from leads sourced through our marketing team, develop new business sales relationships through our trade program, conduct in-home consultations, and close sales while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Duties
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and present tailored door and closet solutions.
- Educate clients on our unique products, technology, and installation process.
- Close sales and maintain strong relationships to drive repeat and referral business.
- Meet or exceed sales targets while upholding our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Contribute to lead generation through networking, referrals, and company-provided marketing channels.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Provide estimates and pricing accurately and responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality results.
- Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to provide informed guidance to clients.
- Communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
Experience
- 4 years proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in the design or home improvement industry.
- Demonstrated ability to sell products and services while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- A proactive approach to upselling and identifying client needs is essential.
- Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances client communication.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a commission-based structure.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes within central Texas.
