**Industrial Engineer Role at One-Eighty Collective**
Are you an Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer with experience in woodworking, commercial casework, or cabinetry, specifically with HOMAG machines? Do you have a background in optimizing plant layouts and process flows to increase operational efficiency?
This role is for a strategic problem-solver who can enhance operational efficiency through technical expertise, team guidance, and process improvements. You will work closely with production and leadership teams to drive process improvements and shape the future of the company's production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize plant layout & process flow to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
- Utilize data-driven analysis (e.g., Amper system) to monitor machine utilization and identify inefficiencies.
- Provide high-level technical expertise on machine operations, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implement process standardization.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve production efficiency.
- Analyze and recommend machinery investments as the company scales operations.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with HOMAG machines (plus if you have Biesse as well).
- Background in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and data analysis.
- Experience in cabinetry, casework, or woodworking manufacturing.
- Proficiency in OEE, downtime analysis, and process optimization tools.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem-solving (50/50 split between strategy & floor work).
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with production and leadership teams.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering (or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Amper (machine monitoring software) or similar tracking tools.
- Experience with Creo/ProE, AutoCAD, or Cabinet Vision.
- Exposure to WoodWOP (HOMAG software) or B-Suite (Biesse software).
- Experience in plant layout design and machine integration.
- Lean Six Sigma certification.
