- Pay: $20.00/Hr.

- Schedule: 8am-5pm ~ Monday-Friday.
LAB TECHNICIAN
Duties:
Duties:
- Performing sample receipt according to published methodologies or SOPs;
- Using the LIMS software and database to enter samples received and sample collection data.
- Writing, editing, reviewing SOPS, as assigned by the manager.
- Notifying the Laboratory Manager of needed equipment and supplies.
- Other duties defined in the Employee Performance Plan (EPP).
- Signing of chain of custodies and sample receiving log.
- Signing packing slips/ receipt for supplies.
- Performing temperature checks.
- Performing weekly hazardous waste cabinet check and monthly safety check.
- Disposing of samples as needed.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry is preferred.
Experience:
- Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position.
- Experience in working electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System platform.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
- Keen problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
