Title : Program Manager - Senior
Location : Washington, District of Columbia
Duration : 18 Months
SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER
Responsibilities :
Directs programs and other project managers and consultants / contractors.
Reviews, approves and ensures development and maintenance of all required project documents including :
A Project Charter
A Project Management Plan
Requirements documents
Design documents
Input to architecture documents
Test Plan
Test results
Implementation Plans
Post Implementation and Lessons Learned
Project schedules and budgets
Resource management plans, Provides weekly program status reports for each program.
Hold program status and other meetings as necessary.
Required Qualifications :
At least ten years' experience and significant hands-on Program and Project management experience from project initiation to implementation using formal project management methodologies and processes.
At least twelve years' experience and significant experience in technology management, analysis and administration.
Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders with evidence of willingness and ability to express and protect departmental interests.
Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated effective communicator and writer, able to tailor message to receiving audience.
