Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Agro Production Specialist to join our team at One Floral Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily tasks assigned by our Senior Grower.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture or a related field and experience working in greenhouse operations.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with crop scheduling, growing protocols, and best practices to ensure crops meet specifications and standards.
- Provide support to growers in maintaining crops and adhering to guidelines.
- Monitor and control watering and irrigation systems, including mist, fog, drips, and flood systems.
- Apply pest and disease management strategies under the direction of the Head Grower.
- Maintain records and report on crop progress and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture or a related field.
- Experience in greenhouse operations or a similar setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility with schedule, including extended hours during peak seasons.
