This position is responsible for the portion of One Florida Bank’s operations related to deposits, CD's and Safe Deposit Boxes and all deposit related functions as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- CD maintenance Review
- Safe Deposit Box Review
- ICS/CDARS Processing and Balancing
- Backup to other personnel as needed
- Backup New Account Review
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support customer service staff with deposit operations inquiries.
- Review exception reports and provides written explanation to management.
- Maintain the highest level of quality control when reviewing all account maintenance.
- Maintain the highest level of quality control when reviewing documents and transaction activity.
- Perform operational and administrative tasks such as, ACH transactions (CD Interest, Loan Payment, Cash Management, Returns, etc.), research, exception, reclamation by other institution or government, and adjustment processing on deposit accounts.
- Processes Non-posted, Suspense, NSF, Chargebacks, Reg-E claims, Proof Over/Short, etc.
- Processes and responds to garnishments, levies, summons, subpoenas, and other legal demands. Handles all fraudulent transaction related to Debit Card, Check, or ACH.
- Track and escheat dormant accounts.
- Work with senior management and department managers to determine actions necessary to protect the Bank against possible loss.
- Keep current with new and improved technologies for the overall operating efficiency of the Bank as it relates to deposit operations.
- Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly.•Ensure management is informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of the Bank objectives and goals.
- Ensure all confidential information in the work area is properly secured each day.
- Maintain privacy of customer account information.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years related work experience
Language and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

- A thorough understanding and application of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of Deposit Operations
- Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks
- Ability to prioritize multiple demands in a high-pressure environment while maintaining professional demeanor

- Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
