Introductory Statement
Conducts entry-level corporate audit services activities in a co-source environment, including internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) activities.
What You Will Do
Conduct entry level corporate audit services activities, including planning and executing internal audits, with a co-source partner as a member of the audit team.
Build fieldwork steps on assigned internal audits and special projects, designed to evaluate whether important risks are adequately controlled.
Help propose recommendations and best practices to resolve identified internal control deficiencies and make processes more efficient.
Help with project planning, oversight, and wrap-up.
Submit audit results and papers for review.
Interview employees throughout the Company to identify and document risks and related controls.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be asked to perform additional responsibilities.
What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other related field plus the following job related experience :
Knowledge of internal control concepts, generally accepted accounting principles, and audit standards as promulgated by The Institute of Internal Auditors.
Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and COSO.
Working knowledge of algebra and statistical methods.
Experience in the use and function of office equipment such as personal computers and related software.
Working knowledge of researching audit documentation.
Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles.
Knowledge of fraud risks and assessments.
Knowledge in reading and interpreting audit results, financial information and reports, governmental regulations and procedures, publications, manuals, audit standards, benefit plan documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Knowledge in conducting interviews, and working and advising with business experts.
Read and write fluently in English.
Certifications may include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
Applicable driver's license for travel to locations throughout state to conduct or attend meetings.
Ability to travel and operate in and around the office and facilities.
Write and conduct presentations.
Visual abilities must be to perform job responsibilities.
