A leading global hospitality brand is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Marketing to lead marketing efforts across U.S. and international locations. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand positioning, drive guest engagement, and support business growth. The director will serve as a key liaison with PR firms, oversee brand activations, and provide strategic direction for digital marketing and social media initiatives.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle marketing and is highly adaptable, analytical, and skilled at managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, global environment.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for U.S. and international locations, ensuring alignment with brand vision and business goals.
- Oversee integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
- Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and consumer insights to refine strategies and maximize impact.
- Identify and develop strategic brand partnerships to enhance visibility and guest engagement.
Brand Activation & Experiential Marketing
Lead the planning and execution of brand activations, events, and experiential marketing initiatives that enhance customer engagement.Collaborate with internal teams to create immersive brand experiences that drive awareness and loyalty.Ensure brand activations align with company values and resonate with target audiences.PR & Communications
Serve as the primary liaison with PR firms, overseeing media strategy, press outreach, and brand storytelling efforts.Develop and manage influencer and media partnerships to amplify brand reach.Ensure consistency in messaging across public relations, marketing, and brand communications.Manage crisis communication strategies, ensuring the brands reputation is protected.Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy
Provide strategic direction for digital marketing efforts, including paid media, website strategy, and email marketing.Oversee social media strategy, ensuring alignment with overall brand objectives while working with internal teams or external agencies for execution.Analyze performance metrics across digital platforms, optimizing strategies based on insights and trends.Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, culinary, and creative teams to align marketing efforts with business priorities.Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and brand partners to enhance marketing efforts.Qualifications & Experience
8 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or director-level role.Experience in hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, or related industries preferred.Strong background in brand marketing, PR, digital marketing strategy, and experiential activations.Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies across multiple locations, including international markets.Experience managing PR firms, media relations, and influencer partnerships.Expertise in digital marketing, including paid media, website strategy, and social media planning.Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and optimize marketing performance.Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and digital platforms.
