Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and organizing parts and inventory for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service jobs.
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels and accurate records of parts usage and inventory transactions in company systems.
- Support technicians by verifying equipment warranties, pulling and preparing parts for scheduled jobs, and collaborating with team members to prioritize and fulfill urgent parts requests.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes, place orders, follow up on delivery/pick up timelines, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Learn and stay updated on the parts and equipment commonly used in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.
- Assist with other administrative and logistical tasks as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or willingness to learn.
- Experience and or education in the HVAC industry.
- Experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field, with experience in an office setting.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, inventory, or similar role.
